ARROW MOVES TO THE TOP

The Australian-made Arrow Kart has moved to the top of the Karting Australia Manufacturer Championship following Round Four of the 2016 Australian Kart Championship in Ipswich.

A strong performance across a variety of classes, including a double podium in the KA1 class by the Harrington Doyle Racing team, has elevated Arrow into the lead by 43 points heading into September’s final round.

Kosmic Racing Kart is now second in the standings, 43 points adrift of Arrow with FA Kart a mere two points further back setting up a tantalizing three-way fight for the title.

CRG has moved clear of Ricciardo Kart in fourth with BirelART sixth. Scuderia PCR Australia and Zanardi Kart Australia are seventh and eighth respectively.

Another victory by the Shamick Racing team in Cadet 12 has extended their lead in the Teams Championship, as a result they now have a 159 point buffer a top of the standings entering the final round.

Patrizicorse’s run of podium results has kept them in the hunt for the title the HDR Arrow Karts outfit now well clear of the Top Gun Racing Team in third place. The AWC Motorsport Academy is fifth in the standings with their drivers continuing to show some good improvement throughout the year.
