DISAPPOINTMENT AGAIN FOR FOSTER IN VEGAS

Western Australian Kip Foster formed part of the eleven driver Australian contingent at the SKUSA SuperNationals XV held in Las Vegas, however, after being excluded after greeting the chequered flag first in 2010 he has again suffered the same misfortune.

In what is one of the biggest kart races in the world with $120,000 prize money on offer and up to 500 drivers competing, Foster returned to Las Vegas with high hopes after being excluded for a technical infringement last year after claiming the win.

In all too similar circumstances this year, Foster again won the final before being disqualified for a mix up in engine numbers. It is believed that he has since appealed the decision and Foster is awaiting the outcome. Fellow TaG masters driver Bryce Watson was classified 23rd.

Macauley Jones was the best of the Aussies in the feature KZ2 class in 13th while Jordie Lindstrom and Matthew Wall took 20th and 21st respectively and Matthew Hunt failed to finish. Anthony Abbasse took out the title over Marco Ardigo and Rick Dreezen.

The TaG Senior class saw three Aussies, Adam Levi who was 14th in points but failed to finish the final (33rd), David Kermond (70th) while Craig Willis was two spots further down (72nd).

The Kostecki brothers were the only two Aussie junior drivers with Jake taking 11th in TaG Cadet with Kurt being shown as 63rd in TaG Junior.
