National Calendar for 2015 announced
Karting Australia would like to advise members of several clarifications and approved adjustments in relation to the Whole of Sport Review that was released in August.
These clarifications have been finalised following the most recent meeting of the Executive Commission and the Karting Australia Board. At this meeting, the written requests from the Clubs via the respective State Associations were addressed.
“Since the release of the Whole of Sport Review we have been diligently working through the genuine questions that have been raised by the Clubs across Australia via the State Associations. These clarifications and adjustments are a result of further consultation with the Executive Commission to address the questions raised,” said Karting Australia Chief Executive Officer Kelvin O’Reilly.
“The process of developing the Rules to govern the various changes outline in the Whole of Sport Review will now be commenced to ensure a smooth implementation in 2015.”
The additional clarifications and approved adjustments can be found by clicking here.
The National Calendar, incorporating the 2015 Australian Kart Championship and Rotax Pro Tour, has also been finalised. The Australian Kart Championship will be contested across five rounds, with the Rotax Pro Tour being decided across seven events.
