RACE OFFICIALS & KARTING ACTIVITY CONTROLLERS
Steps to apply for a Race Officials Licence or a Karting Activity Controller.
Race Officials
Prior to applying for a Race Officials Licence, it is a compulsory requirement to have a current and valid Working With Children’s Check, a copy of this will be required during the application process.
- Log into portal.karting.net.au and create a profile.
- Click on the Applications tab.
- Scroll to find Official’s Licence.
- Follow the steps to applying for an Race Official Licence (Level 4).
- A Race Official Licence (Race Official) is for Officials who will be a volunteer official at Race Events in accordance with the Karting Australia Officials Policy
- After completing the Application, you will receive a confirmation email to your registered email address, and subsequently an email in the coming days with a login to the Online Officials Academy where you will be able to complete the compulsory online courses.
- Once the compulsory courses have been completed and your Working With Children’s Check has been confirmed by the State Administrator, your licence application will be subject to approval by the State Administrator.
Karting Activity Controller
Prior to applying to become a Karting Activity Controller, it is a compulsory requirement to have a current and valid Working With Children’s Check, a copy of this will be required during the application process. Copy the current text that is on the page but remove the bullet point that relates to the Race Officials Licence. Also remove the word Licence at the end of the Karting Activity Controller (KAC) Licence.
- Log into portal.karting.net.au and create a profile.
- Click on the Applications tab.
- Scroll to find Official’s Licence.
- Follow the steps to applying for a Karting Activity Controller (Level 5).
- A Karting Activity Controller (KAC) Licence enables you to manage Social Karting Activities at a Karting Australia Club once Activities are approved by the Club
- After completing the Application, you will receive a confirmation email to your registered email address, and subsequently an email in the coming days with a login to the Online Officials Academy where you will be able to complete the compulsory online courses.
- Once the compulsory courses have been completed and your Working With Children’s Check has been confirmed by the State Administrator, your licence application will be subject to approval by the State Administrator.
