APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR FIA ACADEMY TROPHY – JUNIOR AND SENIOR

The FIA Karting Academy Trophy is a formula, unique in the world, aimed at training and detecting young talents in identical equipment.

Previously, the Academy Trophy has been solely for Junior Competitors (born in 2011, 2012 or 2013), but for the first time in 2025 there is the opportunity for 36 Competitors born in 2009, 2010 or 2011 to represent their country in the Academy Trophy – Senior.

Drivers who have scored at least one point in an FIA Karting European Championship event or have been ranked in the top 15 of the Intermediate Classification, or of the Final Intermediate classification or in the Final of the FIA Karting World Championship, in the previous and/or current year, are not allowed to participate in the Trophy

01-04 May 2025 – Portimao, Portugal
05-08 June 2025 – Viterbo, Italy
31 July-03 August 2025 – Rødby, Denmark
*A Test Day will be organised on Thursday afternoon, on each Competition of the Trophy

15-18 May 2025 – Valencia, Spain
17-20 July 2025 – Műlsen, Germany
25-28 September – Cremona, Italy

Karting Australia is seeking applications from those Drivers who meet the criteria as listed, are eligible for an International Licence and who are willing to commit to the schedule of competing at these events.

Following the applications, Karting Australia will provide select one Driver to be eligible to enter the 2025 FIA Karting Academy Trophy in the Junior or Senior categories.
