Australian karting has two representatives in overseas action this weekend – Aidan Wright in the final round of the World Under 18 World Championships at Sarno, Italy and Aaron Borg in the 35th Toyota All Japan SL Kart Meeting at Lake Biwa Sportsland, Japan.
Wright qualified 28th fastest in yesterday’s opening day before recording two fourths and an eighth place finish in his opening three qualifying heat races. As a result he is currently 11th in the standings of the 64 drivers in attendance.

Borg qualified tenth before finishing seventh in his heat race, which was wet. As a result he will start 14th in the final.
