AUSTRALIAN KARTING ASSOCIATION LTD BOARD CONFIRMED FOR 2020

2019 Annual Report Released

The Member States of Australian Karting Association Ltd (Karting Australia) confirmed its Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Retiring Directors Glen Egan, Troy Bundy, John Reynolds and Kevin Davis offered themselves for re-election. In accordance with the Constitution, all were taken to be elected for a further term.

Mr Davis was appointed in April to fill the casual vacancy created by the departure of former Director Phil Smith. Davis brings a wealth of business experience to the Board with three decades in the automotive and industrial tool industry and is the Managing Director of one of Australia’s most successful tool manufacturing businesses – Austech Industries. He has been involved in motorsport at various levels – including karting – for many years.

Confirmed at the AGM was also the Annual Report for the year ending 31 December 2019 covering Australian Karting Association Ltd’s sixth full year of operation since restructuring as a Company Limited by Guarantee.
