BATTLE OF THE MANUFACTURERS

The battle for titles in the Australian Kart Championship isn’t just limited to the drivers on the track, there’s also the Karting Australia Manufacturers Championship up for grabs.

In each of the eight classes being contested, the top two drivers in each of the registered manufacturers will be eligible to score points towards the overall tally.

Five manufacturers have this year registered to contest the Karting Australia Manufacturers Championship with Australia’s leading brand, Arrow, flying the flag for karts designed and built locally.

Throughout the years, Arrow Karts have secured more National Championships than any other Australian manufacturer.  This year they will take the fight up to four big name brands from Italy – CRG, FA Karts, Ricciardo Kart and Scuderia PCR.

CRG Karts are manufactured in Lonato, Italy.  Its history is filled with sport and commercial success featuring countless victories obtained on the circuits all over the world starting from the 1970s. CRG has always been at the highest levels for technical and sporting experience on the International Karting scene.

Along with their battles on the Formula One circuits, Fernando Alonso and Daniel Ricciardo also battle on the karting circuits with their FA and Ricciardo brands respectively.  While the FA Kart has been manufactured for a number of years, 2015 marks the inaugural year for the Ricciardo Kart.

Scuderia PCR takes its name, and all the experience accumulated over many years of high-level performances, from the historic former PCR and has relaunched the brand on the market with renewed enthusiasm and the specific objective of becoming a reference brand for all karters in Italy and around the world.
