IT was steady as she goes for karter Craig Butler as he was victorious in round one of the Supercheap Auto Karting Series in Rockhampton last weekend.
Qualifying in third place on Saturday afternoon in the Pro Clubman category, Butler grabbed second place in race one, before rounding out Sunday with a win and another second to take the points ahead of James Greenwood and Sam Lumsden.
“It was our reliability that kept us going and we had a really good weekend; it was a great way to start the series,” he said.
