Come and Try Day happening this Saturday. We still need volunteers. Keep in mind if you do help out for the day (9.30 – 4.30pm) you will earn your bonus points for your Club Championship. Good idea if you have the time to do it this Saturday as is a short day compared to a race day. Give the Secretary a call to register for your points.
Info below on how the day will run:
Point 1 – Office:
Registration, general instructions, receive entry ticket (time when handed out recorded on ticket)
Point 2 – Parc Ferme
Initial briefing with whiteboard (includes safety instructions)
Point 3 – Fitting Area
Fitting of helmet, hairnet, gloves and vinyl gloves, suit (as needed)
They must handover entry ticket at this point
Point 4 – Out Grid
Waiting Area, final briefing on kart and entry to track
Point 5 – Breakdown Lane
Return of kart, get out of kart and walk up to Point 6 (volunteers to bring back kart)
Point 6 – In Grid
Remove helmet, gloves and suit (if in one) and dispose of hairnet and vinyl gloves
Receive Information Pack and told where BBQ is.
Point 7 – Presentation Area
BBQ and showing of “How to Go Karting” DVD on big screen
