DR BRENT MAY AWARDED 2016 FIA INTERNATIONAL BEST DOCTOR

Karting Australia Chief Medical Officer Dr Brent May was awarded the FIA International Best Doctor of the Season for 2016 at the recent CAMS Awards Dinner in Melbourne.

During the Gala Dinner at the Crown Casino Dr May was recognised for his work throughout 2016.

ā€œIā€™m very proud to be awarded the FIA International Best Doctor of the Season for 2016, it is an amazing honour for this prestigious award,ā€ said Dr May.

In addition to his role with Karting Australia, Dr May is also the Chief Medical Officer for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and Motorcycling Australia along with a variety of other roles for numerous other events and organisations.

Also recognised alongside the CAMS National Champions at the event was KA1 Australian Kart Champion Scott Sorensen.
