MORE than 160 go-karters slid through rain and shine for the Victorian Country Series at Lake Gillear on Sunday.
The third round of the series also featured the Wolf Gottlewski Memorial ‘Rotax Pro Iron Man’ event of 30 laps, won by Ballarat racer Ashley Quiddington.
Warrnambool Kart Club president Deon Drake said the event had some fantastic racing and a strong crowd despite the weather conditions.
