Team Adrenaline Kart Sport are ecstatic following the opening day of testing with the return of the Zanardi Kart to the Australian Karting scene with Daniel Price and Leigh Cocker set to show off the new model in front of the IAME National Leopard Challenge this weekend at the 2011 SA State Sprint Kart Titles.

Produced out of the Chiesa Corse factory, the Zanardi chassis has been absent from the Nation’s circuits for some years, and a pre-event test day conducted by Team Adrenaline has attracted a great deal of attention to their return. With all technical and logistical support available to the Team Adrenaline drivers, it will give them a great advantage in preparation for the impending IAME National Leopard Challenge. With the expected strong results, it also opens up the opportunity to travel overseas and contest World Class events with the continued factory support of Chiesa Corse.

Momentum has continued to develop for the team as a result of the back to back World Championships for the Zanardi Kart, in particular the double in 2011 with Matthew Graham in the CIK-FIA U18 World Title and Junior protégé Nyck De Vries being the overall World Champion.

The Karts that both Price and Cocker will compete in are the first of the 2012 chassis, and testing which was undertaken at the Monarto Karting Complex (venue of SA Open Championships) has shown the strength of these Karts, and their ability to be a true front runner in both the Leopard Light and Leopard Heavy category.

Team Adrenaline Team Principal David Brewer states, “we are just are so impressed with the speed the Zanardi Karts are showing already, and how comfortable both Daniel and Leigh are in them already, it is a true testament to the support we have received. We still have alot to learn with setup and development however the early signs are promising.”
