A strong performance by Team Leader James Sera at Round Two of the Australian Kart Championship has ensured that FA Kart has closed in on Arrow in the battle for the Karting Australia Manufacturers Championship.
Sera claimed the victory in the KA1 class and finished a close second in the X30 class. He was also backed up by strong performances by Luke Marquis and Morgan Feast in their respective classes aboard the Italian-made chassis.
The Arrow Karts team also enjoyed significant success across the weekend with Scott Sorensen dominating the KF2 class, Cory Arnett and Cooper Murray also made it a pair of podiums in the KA Junior class.
Ricciardo Kart has rocketed into within 11 points of the CRG outfit in the standings courtesy of a consistent performance by its drivers across the weekend while Scuderia PCR Australia remains in fifth position in the standings.
Round Three of the Australian Kart Championship presented by Jayco and Castrol EDGE will be contested in Ipswich, Queensland on July 3-5.
