Grenfell kart club members made the trip down to Griffith last weekend, to contest the first round of the NSW State Cup Series.
Griffith’s round was held over two days with drivers arriving on the Friday night to start practice early Saturday morning.
The weekend didn’t look to bright heading over Friday night with torrential rain putting doubts in the minds of the drivers.
Saturday morning came round and the water had drained remarkably well, easing worries about wet weather set ups.
