Karting Australia is pleased to announce that the Ultimate Club Racer V will be hosted by the Griffith Kart Club in Southern New South Wales on October 31 – November 2. Supported by the Griffith City Council, the event will celebrate the grassroots level of karting, offering Club-level racers the chance to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes across multiple classes.
The Ultimate Club Racer event is specifically designed for Club-level competitors, with all Club categories being offered. To maintain the spirit of the event, restrictions apply to Australian Kart Championship round podium finishers from the past two years, ensuring a fair and competitive playing field for all participants.
Griffith City Council is excited to support the event, which is expected to bring a significant economic boost to the region.
“Hosting an event of this calibre in Griffith is a fantastic opportunity for our community,” said Griffith City Council Mayor Doug Curran.
“We look forward to welcoming competitors and their families to experience our hospitality while enjoying an exciting weekend of racing and everything that the Griffith region has to offer.”
Karting Australia Chief Operating Officer Lee Hanatschek emphasised the event’s importance in recognising grassroots competitors.
“Ultimate Club Racer is all about celebrating the heart and soul of our sport—the Club-level racers who compete week in and week out,” said Hanatschek.
“This event gives them a chance to race on a national stage, with great prizes and a fantastic atmosphere at a top regional venue like Griffith.”
With a festival-style atmosphere, competitive racing, and a strong focus on grassroots participation, the Ultimate Club Racer V promises to again be a highlight of the Australian karting calendar.
Further event details and regulations will be released in the coming months.
