After an extremely competitive debut season in KZ2 competition Patrizicorse is pleased to announce the signing of young Sydney-sider Jaie Robson for the 2016 Australian Kart Championship aboard Ricciardo Kart and powered by IAME Engines.
“For me Jaie was a standout in 2015, his limited experience in KZ competition could sometimes have been forgotten by the speed and results he was showing. The raw talent he displayed is exciting and I am really looking forward to him lining up alongside Troy Loeskow aboard our Ricciardo Kart/IAME package,” said Patrizicorse Owner Michael Patrizi.
“I am sure 2016 will be a big year for Jaie and we will start testing immediately after our racing commitments in Macau (December 12/13).
“Jaie comes from a very successful karting family as I have watched his father Mick win many races myself, I can see a lot of positives in this deal, 2016 will tell.”
Robson is looking forward to expanding his knowledge as he embarks on his second year of competition in the KZ2 ranks.
“I couldn’t be happier to be joining a Team like Patrizicorse for my second season of KZ competition. Their experience and knowledge is up there with the best and Michael Patrizi has a lot of credibility to his name internationally,” said Robson.
“The Ricciardo Kart/IAME package is completely new to me, but what we have seen in the Australian series and International competition in VEGAS shows this will be good move.
“I would like to thank CRG for their support this season, Darren, Mattia and Chris.”
