The dates and venues for upcoming events in the SP Tools Junior Sprockets program in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland have been announced.
The SP Tools Junior Sprockets program is a participation initiative developed by Karting Australia that provides participants aged between 6 and 14 years of age with the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of driving an authentic racing kart in a safe and controlled environment.
Under the expert tuition of Karting Australia Development Manager Troy Hunt and a group of experienced instructors, each participant will progress through a series of activity stations where they will learn the basics of karting.
All karts and safety equipment are provided for the program, with each participant receiving information on ‘How to get Started in Karting’ along with a free 12 month Karting Australia practice licence to assist them with the transition into competitive karting.
As previously confirmed, the Sapphire Coast Kart Club near Bega, New South Wales will be the venue for Saturday June 15.
The program will be heading to Sydney’s Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway on Tuesday July 9 where the North Shore Kart Club will host the program for the first time.
This will be followed by a trip to Victoria with the Eastern Lions Kart Club to host the program on Thursday July 11.
The program then heads north to the Ipswich Kart Club in Queensland on Saturday July 27.
Melbourne’s Go-Kart Club of Victoria will host the program on Saturday September 21.
