Continuing on from the success of the opening three SP Tools Junior Sprockets programs of 2016, the upcoming events in the September/October School Holidays have all been sold out.

More than 100 budding new drivers aged between 6 and 14 years of age will sample the sport of karting across four days at Oakleigh, Lithgow and the Gold Coast.

“To see the upcoming Junior Sprockets days reach capacity is very pleasing and highlights the great work by everyone involved,” said Karting Australia CEO Kelvin O’Reilly.

“The program has been designed to provide budding young karters with the thrill and excitement of kart racing in a safe and controlled environment while being educated by professional instructors and drivers.

“Having such a high level of interest in the program certainly shows that it’s hitting the mark for the new karter.

“Already from the first three days of 2016 we’ve seen a great take up rate of participants into licence holders and we look forward to this trend continuing throughout the remainder of the year.”

Participants who have secured their spots in the upcoming Junior Sprockets programs will be notified of further details of the events via email in the week leading up to their respective day.

The Junior Sprockets program is proudly supported SP Tools, DPE Kart Technology, Arrow, Kosmic, Dunlop KartSport, Reevu Helmets, Vortex engines, IAME engines, Bridgestone, Castrol, Jayco and Top Gun Driving Academy.
