Congratulations to Terry Commins for coming 3rd in Dash for Cash in Kalgoorlie on 10th November. Everybody had a fantastic weekend in Kalgoorlie and congratulations to all drivers who competed and represented our Club.

On Sunday we had our last club run for 2012. Hot, Windy conditions did not stop some spectacular racing. A great turn out with some excellent racing in all divisions.

Cadets and Rookies raced together. Cadets Holly Panizza (28) and Mathew Dowsett (31) were having a close race each round and Sheralee Mason (10 ) enjoying the bigger field to race in. Logan Panizza had his first race showing great promise and his fastest time recorded. Well Done Holly Panizza who took 1st Place. Mathew Dowsett 2nd, Sheralee Mason 3rd.

Rookie driver Marli Rhodes (22) and Jack Lister-Buttle (19) enjoyed negotiating the extra traffic and had a great race with the Cadets. Marley Rhodes took out 1st Place and Jack Lister-Buttle 2nd.

Junior National Lights was an excellent race to watch with Terrence Flynn-Dowell (6) showing his racing ability coming from the rear of field to first position in heats 1 and 4. Liz Black (33), Brock Desmond (73), Mitchell Rhodes (51) and Nicholas Pascoe (7) giving great chase and enjoying the competition. Congratulations Terrence on winning all 5 heats. 2nd Liz Black, 3rd Brock Desmond.

Junior National Heavy driver Mitchel Rhodes (51) won all 5 heats. Liz Black (33) enjoyed the close racing. 1st Mitchel Rhodes , 2nd Liz Black.

Junior Clubman drivers Liz Black (11) and Jacob Beck (99) battled it out all day with 2 wins each and the final heat was the decider. 1st Jacob Beck, 2nd Liz Black.

Sportsman Heavy and Sportsman 125 Nick Wright (14) was definitely a winner with 5 straight wins and Ben Smart (51) with 5 seconds. Liam Barrett (9), Brendan O’Donnell (2), Kim Lawrence (11P) and Daniel Panizza (67) all smiles enjoying the strong competition. 1st Nick Wright, 2nd Ben Smart, 3rd Brendan O’Donnell. Sportsman 125 1st Daniel Panizza.

Sportsman Super Heavy being the largest field for the day with plenty DNFs, some from collisions . Well done Sean Barrett and Brendan Dowell being the only two not to have a DNF, however, some may say they caused some. Terry Commins (88) was grinning from ear to ear with 3 wins to overcome 2 DNF’s for the day and Sean Barrett (9) giving good chase with 1 win and 4 seconds and Brendan Dowell (31) getting amongst it too. Todd Barrett (46P), Michael Stein (1P), Steve Morris (23P) and Treva Beck (11) all raced well and all had stories to tell in each heat. 1st Sean Barrett, 2nd Terry Commins, 3rd Brendan Dowell.

A special thank you to Delcia Hubble, Ladies in the Tower, Grid Marshalls, all Flag Marshalls and everyone who makes each Club Run possible.

This concludes 2012 racing and our AGM/Trophy Presentation Night/Christmas Dinner will be held on 16th December at our Club Rooms.
