Karting Australia will have 20 young representatives on the grid ahead of this afternoon’s Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Each of the aspiring young drivers, who will be competing in the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship in Melbourne on April 3-5, will be the official flag bearers for the drivers on the Formula One grid.
Fresh off a second place finish in the WSK Gold Cup in Italy two weeks ago Lochie Hughes will be flying the Australian flag for Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo.
