KIP LEADS THE AUSSIE CHARGE IN FRANCE

Western Australian Kip Foster has once again led the charge the Australian contingent at the IAME International Challenge in France.

After recording his maiden victory last year, Foster endured an up and down run in the X30 Masters heat races to be classified 15th after the heats. Determined to claw his way up onto the podium the multiple-time Australian Champion charged his way to third in the pre-final and was set to make a challenge in the main event.

All throughout the race Foster ran at the front, only to be pipped by one tenth of a second at the finish line by French driver Gérard Cavalloni.

In the X30 Senior ranks that featured 123 drivers Paul Pittam was set a challenge after being excluded in qualifying due to a mistake by his team. Determined to make every post a winner Pittam was ranked 75th after the heats – 15 places behind fellow Australian Adam Levi.

Pittam would go on to finish ninth the C Final while Levi finished in the same spot in the B Final.

Jordyn Sinni was ranked 33rd out of the 98 Juniors after the qualifying heats. This meant he made the cut to progress to the main Final. Sinni moved forward to finish 26th in the pre-final and went better in the final greeting the chequered flag in 22nd place.

Young Western Australian Jesse Thomas was ranked 53rd after the heats, slotting him into the B Final where he moved up from his 20th starting position to record a fifth place finish.
