LAST CHANCE TO SECURE JUNIOR SPROCKETS PLACES IN HOBART

The SP Tools Junior Sprockets Program will be held in Hobart on Tuesday January 31.

The SP Tools Junior Sprockets Program will be held in Hobart on Tuesday January 31.

Time is running out to secure a place for your child in the SP Tools Junior Sprockets Program to be held in Hobart on Tuesday January 31.

The Junior Sprockets program is designed to provide budding young karters with the thrill and excitement of kart racing in a safe and controlled environment while being educated by professional instructors and drivers in the equipment provided.

In conjunction with the Junior Sprockets for beginners, the Sprockets Plus program is a new initiative by Karting Australia as an extension to the highly successful Junior Sprockets program. Sprockets Plus is specifically designed for children between the age of 7 and 14 years of age.  It is designed for the drivers who have been actively involved in the sport for less than three years and understand the basics of karting. These drivers will participate using their own equipment.

Under the expert tuition of Troy Hunt and the instructors from the Top Gun Driver Training Academy, participants will be taught driving techniques and race craft in an effort to assist current licence holders to improve their racing.

The Tasmanian leg of the Junior Sprockets program is supported by SeaRoad Shipping services. The SeaRoad Mersey vessel will carry the Dunlop Kartsport transporter and all of the karts and equipment across the Bass Strait this weekend in readiness for Tuesday’s event.

To secure one of the final available places, simply click on the link below and complete the on-line registration form by 5pm Thursday January 26.
