A new era of Australian karting begins this weekend in Geelong with the opening round of the 2015 Victorian Kart Championship being contested.
A total of 192 entries have been received across the 12 classes being contested at the event with the largest beingĀ TaG 125 Light, Cadet 12 and Junior National Light classes where 23, 24 and 25 drivers respectively will line up on the grid.
The overall Champion in the X30 Light class will receive the opportunity to contest the IAME International Final in France in October courtesy of the support from Remo Racing and DPE Kart Technology.
Practice for the senior competitors will be contested on Friday afternoon with all qualifying and racing being held on Saturday and Sunday.
