NEW RECRUIT FOR DPE KART TECHNOLOGY

Kel Treseder will join the DPE Kart Technology team as of the upcoming round of the Australian Kart Championship

Next Month’s second round of the Australian Kart Championship presented by Jayco and Castrol EDGE will see Kel Treseder line up with the DPE Kart Technology (DPEKT) team.

In a shock move the former two-time runner up in the KZ2 Championship will be moving from the Energy chassis to suit up aboard a DPEKT-imported FA Kart for the remainder of 2015.

“I’ve been around the sport for many, many years and I’ve always admired the way in which the DPE team operates,” said Treseder.

“I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to join them and I’m really looking forward to racing an FA Kart for the first time next month.”

For DPE Kart Technology General Manager Bart Price the inclusion of Treseder to the squad has him confident entering the South Australian round.

“Kel has been one of Australia’s top drivers for many years now and it’s with excitement that I welcome him to the DPEKT team,” said Price.

“He has a wealth of knowledge that he can bring to the team and we look forward to seeing him aboard one of our products near the front of the field.”

The Go-Kart Club of South Australia will host the next round of the Championship at the Monarto Karting Complex on May 22-24.  This event doubles as the South Australian Championship for all classes being contested in the AKC.

Entries are now open through Karting Australia’s Competitor Management System (CMS).
