NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR 2025 KARTING AUSTRALIA HONOURS AND AWARDS

Karting Australia is excited to announce that nominations for the 2025 Honours and Awards are now open, providing an opportunity to recognise outstanding contributions and achievements within the Australian karting community.

The prestigious awards will be presented at the Honours and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast, in conjunction with the Building Better Kart Clubs Conference.

Karting Australia’s Honours and Awards program, part of its Volunteer Management Framework and Strategic Plan, recognises individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and passion. This program celebrates the unsung heroes who have significantly contributed to the sport’s growth and development, creating a sense of pride and camaraderie across the karting community.

Nominations are now open for the following distinguished honours:

  • Life Membership
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Impact on Karting Award

Nomination Process and Requirements:

  • Nominations are open to Karting Australia members, including Directors, the CEO, and Individual and Life Members.
  • Each nomination must be submitted via the online form, detailing the nominee’s service and contributions to the sport.
  • Nominations for Life Membership, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Impact on Karting Award must be seconded by at least two Karting Australia members.

Key Award Criteria:

  • Life Membership: Awarded for at least eight years of sustained service and a lasting positive impact on karting in Australia.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognising over 12 years of exceptional national-level contribution and leadership in Australian karting.
  • Impact on Karting Award: Honouring individuals with 10 or more years of service who have made a significant impact on karting at state or national levels through leadership and dedication.

These awards provide a unique opportunity to celebrate those who have dedicated themselves to the sport, and we encourage the karting community to participate in recognising their peers.
