OPENING DATES OF JUNIOR SPROCKETS AND SPROCKETS PLUS FOR 2023 ANNOUNCED

The opening schedule for the SP Tools Junior Sprockets program in 2023 has been finalised with the introductory program set to visit five states in the first four months.

The Junior Sprockets program is a participation initiative developed by Karting Australia that provides participants aged between 6 & 12 years of age with the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of driving an authentic racing kart in a safe and controlled environment.

After visiting various parts of the Sunshine State over the past couple of years, the schedule will make a return to the Ipswich Kart Club in Queensland on January 16.  The following week will see youngsters take to the track in Newcastle on January 23.

The program will then head south to Melbourne on the second weekend of February at the Go-Kart Club of Victoria.

During the April School Holidays, there will be programs held in both Western Australia and South Australia – the dates of which will be finalised early in the new year.

The cost per driver is $250, each participant in the Junior Sprockets beginner program will receive a free Karting Australia practice licence.

The Ipswich, Newcastle and Melbourne programs will be accompanied by the Junior Sprockets Plus program.

Junior Sprockets PLUS is designed for those children that are actively involved in the sport and understand the basics of karting. The program has been specifically tailored to focus on driving techniques and race craft to provide current licence holders with a boost in their racing.
