This Saturday, April 14 will be a club fun day, starting at 3pm and continue into the night under lights.

The Whyalla Go-Kart Club would like to invite all past Go-Karters, who may have karts and equipment sitting around in their sheds, to bring their karts out of retirement and have some fun on the track, or alternatively let everyone involved in karting aware that your gear maybe for sale.

Who knows, you may offload your redundant equipment and go home with some dollars in your pocket or better still, the experience may reinvigorate your passion for racing.

Anyone who wishes to bring a kart out and use the track must go through a scrutineering procedure on their kart and a personal safety check list.

Examples of this will be if the kart was an approved racing machine in the past and you must have a current approved helmet.

Okay, so what this article is all about, is that the Whyalla Go-Kart Club has secured Major South Australian Meetings in each year for the next four years.

These meeting include a round of the Festival State Cup, South Australian Closed Titles, South Australian Open State Titles and another round of the Festival State Cup.
