After a strong 2016 season to date Patrizicorse Australia’s premier kart racing team heads in to the Final round of the Australian Kart Championship with the chance to win two of the eight classes on offer.
Patrizicorse Driver and adopted Dutchman Marijn Kremers currently leads the IAME X30 championship by a slender 12 points. Kremers also sits equal 2nd in the KZ2 Gearbox category with his fellow Patrizicorse team mate Chris Hays.
Fresh from the World Karting championship held in Sweden in early September both Kremers who finished 10th and Troy Loeskow (22nd) are both ready for the challenge of the final round at the Todd Road Circuit. Hays who couldn’t attend the event has been preparing for the final showdown since the fourth Rd of the championship in July.
Patrizicorse has Thomas Steele looking for a podium finish in the KA1 category sitting in 4th entering the final Rd. Bradley Stewart in only his 2nd year of national competition enters the final round at his home circuit where he has showed immense amounts of speed and looks to be one of the favourites for the Trophy on Sunday, with a good result Brad will cement a spot well inside the Top 10 in the championship.
Jace Matthews driving the Ricciardo kart in the KA2 Junior category is returning from his dominant win in the Singaporean X30 Challenge only 4 weeks ago, ready to fight for the top 3 podium places in the championship.
For the final Round Patrizicorse also welcome Bianca Bustamante (KA2) and Jacob Ang (X30) from the Philippines and Luca Nici (KA12) form Western Australia to the team, again showing the growth of the successful team which has now supported 6 international drivers over the last 2 events.

“this year we changed teams and brands, patrizicorse has given us the equipment and support to get back into championship contention which is what we go racing for, hopefully by sunday we have the number 1 plate on our kart, if its not me then i hope its my team mate.” Chris hays
