The 25th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals have officially kicked off in Sarno, Italy, bringing together the best Rotax drivers from around the world. Among the 400 competitors representing 60 nations, five Australian drivers are set to take on the challenge in their quest for global glory.
Leading the charge for Australia in the Junior MAX category is Hamish Campbell (#251) while in the highly competitive Senior MAX category, Max Walton (#343) will represent Australia. Walton, who has had a stellar couple of years Australian Karting along with a great run to runner-up 2024 FIA Karting Academy Trophy, is primed to take on the best Senior Rotax drivers in the world.
In the DD2 class, Harrison Hoey (#441) will be flying the flag for Australia. It is the second consecutive year that Hoey has qualified for the event.
The DD2 Masters category will see two experienced Australians take to the track. Troy Bretherton (#532) and Scott Howard (#522) will represent Australia. Howard, a seasoned competitor, is competing in his sixth Rotax Grand Finals.
