Saller Prepares For Busy Karting Season - From Saller Motorsport

Sydneysider Michael Saller

Sydneysider Michael Saller is in final preparations for what will be one of the biggest years in his karting career, with events planned across Australia and internationally, while also progressing with his career plan and moving into further categories.

A campaign with the popular Rotax Pro Tour, with the series expanding to eight events in 2012/2013 will be the key focus for Saller, with the ultimate goal of representing Australia at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in New Orleans, USA later in the year.

“I am really setting myself up for a strong year in the pro tour, with a heavy focus on testing to succeed in events as there is only one spot in my category to go to New Orleans,” said Saller, “with a strong result in Canberra in October it has given me a wealth of confidence.”

A stronger focus on media and marketing in 2013 will ensure Michael continues to progress himself as the ‘whole package’ as a driver. Direct Management Group, led by motorsport commentator and media manager Liam Meegan will be responsible for the team’s presentation to the public and sponsors.

“I’m excited to be working with Liam and Direct Management Group this year and maintaining my focus on professional presentation and media and public relations which is continuing to become an integral area in the sport,” Saller concluded.

Michael’s first event of the 2013 calendar year will be Round 2 of the Rotax Pro Tour to be held at Todd Rd in Melbourne from January 25-27.
