STATEMENT: GREG SELWOOD

It is with sadness that Karting Australia acknowledges the passing of former Australian Champion Greg Selwood.

Greg passed away on Friday January 10, he was aged 55.

Greg was six-time Australian Karting Champion, his first victory coming in 1978 in the Sub-Junior class. He then won another three titles in consecutive years in the Junior International Class. He returned to the top step of the podium at the National Championship in 1990 and 1991 when he was victorious in the Reed Light and International Class respectively.

Karting Australia on behalf of the entire karting community offers its condolences to the Selwood family and friends.
