Patrizicorse, the Australian importer of LeCont tyres, advises of the following information for Karting Australia, State Associations, Clubs and Licence holders regarding LeCont LH03 tyres.
The latest batch of LeCont LH03 tyres, which will begin to be distributed from the Patrizicorse warehouse soon will incorporate a different barcoding system than previously used by the tyre manufacturer.
This barcode will begin with the identifier L7 rather than the previous L0 and the background of the barcode will be yellow in colour instead of white.
LeCont has advised that there has been no change in the methodology of the tyres. The providers of some raw materials have altered due to the return of consistent supply that had previously been disrupted due to the Ukraine war.
To ensure the integrity of competition and eliminate any possible discrepancies with regards to performance, Karting Australia is advising that the latest batch of LeCont LH03 tyres with the L7 barcode will only be able to be used in Events after the following dates in each state:
For the avoidance of doubt, LeCont LH03 tyres with the L0 white barcode remain able to be used in all Events.
