Karting in South Australia is set for a significant influx of new members after the sport gained some significant interest during the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercars event in Adelaide last weekend.
Karting Australia had an information stand in conjunction with the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport that incorporated the new Formula 4 car and four karts varying from the Vortex Cadet, IAME KA100 Reedjet, TaG 125 and elite KZ2 karts.
With some 285,600 spectators attending the event, the Clipsal 500 is one of the largest sporting events in the country.
Karting will again be on show in two weeks time when the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix heads to Melbourne for the Championship opener from March 12-15.
Karting Australia acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
