Australian trio Liam McLellan, Matthew Waters and Troy Loeskow are getting set for the biggest event of their karting careers in Italy this week.
Competing courtesy of their victories in the Australian Kart Championship (formerly known as the CIK Stars of Karting Championship), the trio will take on the best drivers from all around the world at the CIK-FIA Winter Cup being contested at the Lonato circuit in South Garda.
They will be lining up at the event aboard Ricciardo Karts in the KF class that will see 45 drivers in action.
Also competing at the event that has attracted 253 drivers from more than 36 countries are fellow Australians Brock Plumb and Lachlan Hughes in the KZ2 and Mini Rok classes respectively.
Official practice for the event begins at 8:20am on Wednesday (6:20pm AEDT).
