The Tom Williamson Motorsport outfit has signalled their intentions to take the fight to their opposition for the 2018 Teams Title in the 2018 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE.
Drivers under Williamson’s tutelage were victorious in both the elite KZ2 and KA2 Championship last year, now the New South Welshman is focused on more success in 2018.
“Last year was a really good year for us as a team, we enjoyed a lot of success with our drivers in KZ2 and KA2, along with the TaG 125 Class. This year I’m looking forward to even more success across the board,” said Williamson.
“We’ve got some new drivers in the team for 2018, along with some of the familiar faces returning. Everyone has been putting in a lot of effort in the off season, both on and off the track, and we all can’t wait for the Championship to start next month in South Australia.”
The opening round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE, will be contested at the Monarto Karting Complex in South Australia on February 23-25. It is expected that more than 250 drivers from all States of Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and America will take to the circuit across nine classes.
