Karting Australia has confirmed the venues for the 2016 Australian Kart Championship presented by Jayco and Castrol EDGE and the 2016 Rotax Pro Tour.
Following on from the schedule that was released last month, it can be confirmed that the Australian Kart Championship will kick off in Dubbo on February 5-7.
The Championship will then return to the recently resurfaced Puckapunyal circuit in Victoria on March 25-27. After securing the Event of the Year title in 2015 the Go-Kart Club of SA will host Round Three at the Monarto Karting Complex. The venue for Queensland’s round on July 1-3 is still to be finalised and the Championships will be decided under the Melbourne skyline at the Go-Kart Club of Victoria’s Port Melbourne circuit on September 23-25.
Continuing the Series’ tradition, the Go-Kart Club of Victoria will host the Rotax Pro Tour opener on January 22-24 before Warwick hosts a round one month later. The Series will return to Eastern Creek for the second consecutive year on April 15-17 before heading further North to Ipswich on June 3-5.
The Jason Richards Memorial will highlight the Series’ debut at the popular Bolivar Raceway on July 15-17 ahead of a round at Puckapunyal on August 26-28 and the Grand Final in Dubbo on September 30 – October 2.
